Setbacks and goals

Three months is a long time. When we started this project in August I had absolutely no idea what I wanted to do for it. I felt that I lacked the drive and creativity to create a project like this and be successful at it. Eventually I decided to join UNICEF Club because I had never been in a club at Lambert and I noticed that this club was not very big as well as not that well known. Shortly after joining I got the bright idea to organize a fundraiser for UNICEF Club to spread awareness about it and also use it for my twenty time project. At first I was seriously struggling to come up with ideas for the fundraiser. I had never brainstormed for a fundraiser, and I had also never organized one either. Weeks had gone by and I had yet to come up with a decent idea for a fundraiser. I also had not made a meaningful blog post. The most important thing though was that none of this really seemed to inspire me or get me to work harder. I was uninspired and lacked the motivation  to achieve greatness in this project. However everything changed and I was able to come up with the Student vs Staff basketball tournament. A week or so went by and I really started brainstorming. Then I came up with the idea that It would be a three v three basketball tournament. There would be 64 teams in the tournament and each team would represent a march madness team. My goal for myself is do something productive that really matters and has a large impact on the community around me. I also want to use this as a way to get involved more with my school and the vibrant community around me.
